Surfing in Swansea is really fun and we have some excellent waves for beginner to advanced surfers.

The season is due to start on April 1st and I predict this year will be busy with lots of visitors making their way to Swansea and Gower to experience what we have on offer for tourists.

Don't forget to make your trip a memorable one by getting in the water and learning to surf with us at Progress Surf School.

Lessons cost £30pp and you will get all the equipment that you will need for your surf lessons included for this price.

Learn To Surf in Swansea, Gower 2010

 
 
  The days are getting longer and this can only mean one thing.....Spring is on it's way!

Soon we will be able to say goodbye to the cold Winter swells and embrace the new warmer Spring swells. We will also be able to ditch the 5mm wetsuits, boots, gloves and hoods and this will introduce a new lease of life to everyone's surfing skills.

Surfing lessons will be starting on April 1st 2010 and we expect this season to be an exciting one. With lots of swell on the horizon and everyone beginning to see the demise of the recession there is new hope for everyone.

We are offering lessons to people with no previous surfing experience through to people who have surfed for years and would like to improve on their techniques.

We will be using the 2 best beaches on Gower to learn to surf on....Llangennith, Hillend Campsite and Caswell Bay. Lessons will be running at 10am and 1:30pm daily.

O’Neill Cold Water Classic South Africa is ON

Stop No. 3 of five on the O’Neill Cold Water Classic Series is underway and anticipating one of the biggest swells of the year to pummel South Africa’s shores is what should make for wild conditions in Cape Town for the ASP WQS 4-Star event. The first two days of the contest have offered up some chilly barrels for its competitors and who knows what will happen if the predicted swell lights up the coast. Make sure to check it out!

A great time at Llangennith this wknd with Stag & Hen surfing do's

The surf wasn't as good as it has been this weekend but we still had a great time... With a stag do and hen do enjoying surfing days with us.
